A small boutique hotel with about 18 rooms located in the center of Valletta. We were surprised by the kindness and professionalism of all the staff, starting from the very welcome of the taxi driver at the airport who was extremely kind and friendly, showed us and explained the whole city during the ride. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, the room was ready. Every day the housekeeping did an excellent job. Since the water is not drinkable, they regularly leave a bottle of water, it is equipped with tea, coffee, a hairdryer, an iron etc. The breakfast was varied and of good quality, if you want eggs, they cook them as you order so you will never get cold scrambled eggs. The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help at any time of the day or night. The location of the hotel is in the very center of Valletta, close to the main street and all attractions. We are very pleased with the service and if we ever return to Malta, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!!

Great location. Quiet but close to all amenities and attractions. Plenty of space in the room, Good bathroom facilities. Keyless entry handy. Helpful friendly hotel staff. As it is a boutique hotel it is not manned 24/7 but they run an honesty system for the bar/snack area by reception. Great concept in this day and age.

    There were so many things to do and sights to see, that it...

    There were so many things to do and sights to see, that it is difficult to single one out. A friend who knows Malta well gave us a very long list, and we did our very best to to a few of them. Favourite places? The trip by boat around the harbours and creeks, the Cathedral, the archaeological museum, the numerous restaurants and bars, the architecture... I could go on and on. If you go further afield, go the the Rotunda at Mosta, the citadel at Mdina and the catacombs at Rabat. We found the local buses excellent and used them a lot! A trip to Gozo on the fast ferry from Valletta is also a must! What a fabulous week!

    Valletta is a stunning and walkable city full of history and culture. There is so much to see and do and lovely cafes and restaurants along the way. Favourite places were Upper Barrakka Gardens and the War Museum, as well as plenty of Harbour boat trips.

    Valletta is very busy when cruise ships dock.

    Valletta is very busy when cruise ships dock. The queue at the Cathedral gets quite long at these times so keep an eye on the docking timetable. Plenty of good dining options. Lots to see with the war rooms well worth a visit. A trip to Mdina is worthwhile east to get to by bus or taxi.

    The History in Valetta can be felt.

    The History in Valetta can be felt. If you do not like history or do not appreciate the regions history, you may find it less enjoyable. But the people, the food and the City was amazing. I’m looking forward to a future stay and much longer.

    Really wonderful building's and sights.

    Really wonderful building's and sights. Great eating places. Lively atmosphere. Lots of steps and uneven pavements, sometimes slippery, so need good footwear. Definitely recommend for a few days.

    Valletta is not really a city for the elderly or less able.

    Valletta is not really a city for the elderly or less able. Very hilly streets and some of the paving can be rather slippery at times. Many holiday homes have very steep stairs or even stone spiral stairs. These look lovely but not always suitable for less able holidaymakers. You need very comfortable shoes because the best way to see the city is on foot. Lots of cobbles and uneven surfaces. Not meaning to be negative, I love Valletta, but telling it like it is. My favourite restaurant is Ta Kris in Sliema. Lovely place, excellent Maltese food, my favourite being the local ravioli. For snacks, the Museum Cafe is a little treasure, full of character and great food.

    The location was perfect for exploring Valletta. Close to the city centre, ferry and bus terminals and great restaurants. Spacious and relaxing. The view was amazing. Surprisingly quiet. Space to unpack and spread out, hang up clothes and generally it was the perfect base for our 4 day introduction to Malta.
