Attard is a peaceful, relaxed area, perfect if your looking for peace and quiet during your stay. There are a few local convenience stores but restaurants are further away. Attard is in a central position between Valetta and Mdina...
Attard is in a central position between Valetta and Mdina with regular buses to both. It is a charming village and we went to Jalies a high end coffee and light bites cafe (but does burgers, pasta too). It is walking distance frm Balzan, another lovely village, with plenty of places to eat and drink. It is a homestay after all and some people will find it a bit awkward but I prefer it to hotels and empty apartments where you don't have in person contact with the owners. The owners are very kind and you can ask them anything. I liked the small booklet you get in your room as a guide for places to visit, that is very considerate! As a child I used to live in Attard and Paola's place was not far from my old house. Paola was helpful and welcoming in every way.
