Hotel Kratis is located just outside (as in 1 minute walk) historic center which meant no scary driving on narrow streets. Free, gated parking was provided in hotel courtyard. My room was huge, with a lovely view of one of the medieval towers. Area was quiet, bed and pillow comfortable, I slept well. The hotel has an elevator. Cook to order breakfast was included in the price and was delicious. Highly recommend, would stay again.

A wonderful place to stay, the host was very welcoming and friendly with recommendations for restaurants, and he very easily contacted. Check in and check out was very simple and straightforward. The space was immaculately clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the mountains, and great outdoor space to sit in. There is plenty of parking for a car or two. A little piece of heaven that I highly recommend!

Perfect place to relax. Lesnovo is a tiny village with an authentic and peaceful feeling. I would have loved to stay longer in House Tomevski and just enjoy the view from the room, reading a book or doing nothing... If you travel in North Macedonia, you shouldn't miss staying at this place!

I arrived here at the end of a 3-week trip through Albania and North Macedonia. I'm really glad to have rounded off my journey at Etno House Shancheva. It was really nice to come here as a solo traveller, and occupy a room actually intended for lone backpackers. I was the only guest, but the family were super-friendly and I was able to talk, eat and drink with them. Soulful times. I really loved Kratovo and staying here was a big part of why I enjoyed the place so much. It felt personal. l loved the spoonful of honey each morning! Also loved the crazy kittens, and all the insight into archaeology, food, Yugoslavia and local history. I felt like I was in very good company here. Thanks for the memories.

An amazing place to stay for relax, the scenery is phantastic. The owner made us feel like home, the breakfast was very delicious with lots of goodies, and they even prepared us lunchboxes for the last day that we left earlier... Our daughter enjoyed it a lot, especially the deer 🦌 and the walk around the lake. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the view from the balcony very nice. the hotel is perfect. I stayed for one night and it was great. The bed was very comfortable, there was central air conditioning and it was spotlessly clean. The rooms are a great size, the bathrooms too. The price I paid was too little for what I got. A quiet and great place to relax. Highly recommended for a great price. Not far from the city center. I also had free parking. The owner allowed us a late check out without paying extra. There is a supermarket under the hotel. Everything was great.

Awesome place owned by the most friendly guys! I literally don't know what to begin with. The complex is made from top quality materials with excellent taste. The rooms beautifull and very clean. The surrounding gardens create an atmosphere perfect for relax. The people are so warm. Toni, Buba and Angela are beyond hosts, they are like friends that you visit them!! The breakfast? Huge and super tasty! The russian baths and the jacuzzi are just the something extra that made our stay unforgettable!! We will definitely come back! 10/10
