The hotel is fantastic. A beautiful setting and really well presented. The spa is out of this world. The restaurant is also amazing and the food is also great. We enjoyed our stay but there were a few glitches that almost ruined the weekend.

We stayed for 1 night with our 4 y.o. son who has never been in a hotel before :) For my husband and me it's not our first 4-star or 5-star hotel, though this one is really good and in excellent in "price/quality" ratio. Overall we enjoyed every aspect! * Nice breakfast with the variety to choose from (smoked fish was delicious!) * Swimming pool is included in the price (all supplies including bath robes, extra towels and slippers are provided as well as the ones in a child size), we visited it at about 6 pm, there were several people, but it was not crowded. * The room was really spacious. We requested a separate small bed for our son and it was ready and covered with linen, waiting us in the room. * Also we asked for an early check-in and the hotel employees did their best to provide it. Normally check-in is around 3-4 pm, we were in the room at approximately 1 pm. * The liquid soap in the bathroom smells exactly like it should smell in a really good hotel. It's a small detail, but it creates the atmosphere. * The staff was very nice and helpful overall.

The historic building itself is stunning – a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the manicured gardens to the elegant architecture, has been lovingly maintained. The surroundings are serene and picturesque, offering a quiet escape from the rush of daily life. Whether you’re sipping a glass of wine in the courtyard or exploring the nearby nature trails, there’s a sense of calm and beauty that lingers with you. Our room was immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with just the right touch of luxury. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spotless and stylish, and every amenity we could need was thoughtfully provided. What truly set our stay apart, however, was the SPa and the staff.     It was overall a good experience at your hotel.

    It was overall a good experience at your hotel. Maybe it is more romantic in the winter because we had bad luck with the weather, it was rainy and colder than it normal is for the month of May. I liked the idea behind the hotel to make it like a luxurious castle and then with SPA and modern facilities. It was very crowdy which I didn't expect for end of May. The inside isolation was not good but outside isolation was perfect. The room was very warm even without turning on the air-con. But once more, please, think about on adding some small details for people who bring their first night like married couple. A small card should have been more personal!

    Our stay was mostly on par with expectations. There was, though, a few hiccups but nothing alarming. More like… funny incidents. Generally a place I would definitely not hesitate to visit again. Made my 50y birthday very memorable, and the ambiance and overall impression of Urspelt was nothing short of spectacular. One of the receptionist did us a very dear and personal favor that you could not officially expect them to. We are very grateful.
