had a great time here. The hosts were kind and demonstrated true Sri Lankan hospitality. It’s peaceful and has lots of interesting things to see around it. loads of birds and some very loud croaking frogs. A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Amazing place to stay as like us you looking to back to the origine where nature and clean environment is the main attraction. The small luxury hotel is extremely well organized and the bungalows distributed on the property in beautifull way with gardens, trees and front lake! We booked a bungalow with pool and it was amazing, super large, comfortable bed, living room, bathroom extra size!!! The Staff was amazing from Marc that received us and take care all the time, Gaya, Jewewan and Chef Swadth just to mentions the more closer to us in these days but all were super kind. We had a fantastic dinner for San Valentine that will remain in our memories forever. They arrange for us the visit to the Park and follow us there. All was over any best expectations and is HIGLY reccomended place to go to have unforgettable moments!!

Amazing rooms, and great view and pool

Loved this place it was rustic but perfect for our Wilpattu adventure. Rooms were nice enough although Ac wasn’t fab. Staff were helpful would stay again.

This place was such a lovely surprise. We booked here last minute after a problem with our other accommodation. We were so well looked after, it felt like we were in our own private villa. Ajit was particularly amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The room itself was really cool. Very comfortable and clean with an amazing outside bathroom with a view of the trees. We had dinner and breakfast at the lodge. Both meals were excellent. They were huge - so much food! Everything was so tasty. The location is great. Right by the entrance to the park and in the middle of some fields. It was a very tranquil setting. The lodge also arranged our safari into Wilpattu and a driver to our next destination. This hotel is highly recommended.

The property is ideally located just a few minutes away from the Wilpattu Park.. The amount of ground this property covers gives you ample space for kids to enjoy themselves as well. The staff were a great and made us feel at home. The rooms were kept clean and comfortable. Thank you to the Kay Jay Wild and the staff there for making our stay a special one. We will be back!

Literally everything. From the amazing buffet dinner they prepare for us, til the very uptight safari and guide they have associated with to do the guide safaris in wilpattu national park (btw this guide is the absolute best, incredibly knowledgeable and sweet person, made us see 3 leopards on a bad day...) The rooms are splendid, very nice and comfortable beds, bed sheets made in heaven... and the resort itself is very beautiful and just 10 min walk away from a splendid lake where we can also take a dive. Amazing

Great hospitality and such a unique setting. Food was amazing, we were not expecting that. The staff booked our safari and packed breakfast and lunch for us. What more could you ask for.

Our stay at Wild Wadi Wilpattu was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and incredible service. We had the opportunity to embark on two incredible safaris with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The wildlife safari was absolutely breathtaking—we were lucky enough to spot leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and so much more in their natural habitat. The boat trip through the mangroves and lagoon was equally magical, offering stunning views and an up-close encounter with Sri Lanka’s diverse ecosystem. The food was simply outstanding—authentic Sri Lankan cuisine at its finest! Both breakfast and dinner were full of flavour, freshly prepared, and truly showcased the best of local dishes. The accommodation was comfortable, well-equipped, and immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and wildlife, was an unforgettable experience. It felt like a true escape into the heart of Sri Lanka’s wilderness. What truly made our stay so special was the wonderful staff and the incredibly kind owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Their passion for hospitality and wildlife made us feel right at home. And last but not least—the absolute star of our stay was Duan, the owner’s young puppy. He is, without a doubt, the most adorable and charming little dog we’ve ever met!
