Amazing peaceful location facing the bay of Galle within easy reaching of Unawatuna or Galle but none of their noises. Agnus Hotel is also close to the jungle beach. Hotel is modern and beautifully designed. Rooms are nicely furnished and bed was comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and accomodating. Breakfast was nice and espresso was delicious. We would definitely return to the Agnus Hotel if we come back in the area. The rooftop terrace with the bar and infinity pool is perfect to enjoy the sunset.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kaju Green! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the calm and serene atmosphere of the lodge. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was exceptional – we thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and lunch, with a variety of delicious, fresh options. We also indulged in a fantastic massage and had the chance to try canoeing, which was a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. The peaceful and tranquil environment allowed us to unwind and fully relax. Overall, Kaju Green Eco Lodges offered everything we could have asked for and more. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!     All sea view rooms and the room we stayed in was very spacious . A few minutes walk to jungle beach. The staff was friendly and even made arrangements to get our meals sorted. There is a kitchen and if we bring the raw materials we can even cook on our own , just need to pay them for the space we use. Over all I enjoyed unwatuna because it was conveniently located too.

    Great place to go we stayed three nights I would stay less. Slightly more expensive than Mirrisa and the tourist are mainly Russian. Turtle beach is great. Recommend as best place to see turtles for free .

    Sadly not a lot to do here. Restaurants menus are similar where ever you choose to eat. Shopping is limited. Beach was good and fairly clean. A weekend (2 nights) would've been plenty of time to spend in Ulawatuna. Lots of tuk tuks around but constantly pestered being asked if I needed one. Lots of people selling things on the beach, some are very persistent. Also had people approach begging for money. 1 followed me for 5 minutes and kept trying to grab my arm.

    Unawatana has a splendid beach.

    Unawatana has a splendid beach. There are lots of places to stay and eat. We ate in 2 good places, one on the beach with varied food, mostly fish, very good and one Sri Lankan food which was great A downside is that behind the beach is a bit of a shop/cafe/rooms strip. But you don’t have to go there

    Unawatuna has a long and beautiful white sand beach and a turquoise blue sea. It's a good base for those wishing to visit attractions in southern sri lanka (national parks/tea plantations etc.), but is not very lively in terms of nightlife, and I was surprised to find around 80% of other tourists were Russianr.

    Unawatuna beach is a nice beach behind a reef with turtles...

    Unawatuna beach is a nice beach behind a reef with turtles swimming and snorkeling. It has a narrow sand strip and at high tide the water comes up to the wall. there were a number of families, local and foreign with young children playing in the shallow part and feeding the turtles. There are a number of restaurants along the beach.

    One of the nicest places we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka. Rooms have a balcony, they are very clean and spaceous. Shared kitchen and fridge are available. The guesthouse is close to the mainroad. A small supermarket and a local restaurant are close by. Also some beautiful, quiet beaches. The town of Unawatuna is in a walking distance or a short Tuk Tuk ride. You can also rent a scooter in the guesthouse for a very reasonable price. Staff is friendly and always there when you need something. A 10/10 as everything was perfect!

    Angel beach is a charismatic and charming hotel that has the perfect blend of fun and relaxation. We loved the events during the day and on the evening and found the location (right on the beach) to be perfect. The facilities are great; large clean rooms, plenty of storage and in excellent condition. The pool area is a vibe with comfy loungers, day beds and an extensive drinks selection. Food was good, particularly breakfast, but we ate in unawatuna most evenings.

    The hotel is. situated in a green and quite location, just a short walk from Unawatana beach. Staff is very attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast is wonderful, with fresh fruit every morning and a buffet of Sri Lankan and western choices. Even the coffee was good, which is pretty unique in Sri Lanka! Our two rooms were on the edge of the wonderful pool.

    The hotel is located in the jungle, between two beaches - Jungle Beach and Unawatuna. Friendly hosts, interesting green area. Swimming pool. Huge, well-stocked rooms, lots of towels. At our request, a transfer to the airport was arranged.
