Tangalle is a hidden gem!
Tangalle is a hidden gem! So many wonderful beaches around the town. I stayed by the Goyambokka beach but preferred the neighbouring Silent beach, which was longer and so beautiful. The town has very little to offer.
The town has very little to offer. It’s a noisy, chaotic typical Sri Lankan town. The only redeeming factor was Silent Beach on the Western side of town. We also enjoyed a nice meal at Cactus Lounge.Guest review byCornelisSpain

Very friendly people, the reception can arrange all sorts of excursions. Nice restaurant and bar, with both Sri Lankan and Western options. Guests can use the swimming pool of the hotel next door, it even has a pool bar. Fantastic to take a plunge with views of the ocean after a hot day.
