I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lavendish Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and a great atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Special thanks goes to Pradeep the manager of the property. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful ambiance and the peaceful surroundings, making it a perfect place to relax. The food was also fantastic, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, Lavendish Hotel is a great choice for a comfortable and memorable stay. I highly recommend it!

Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

Clean room, very friendly host and very cute puppies !! (called Sera and Nora) We are two girls and felt very safe! The host was very helpful and helped us with arranging a safari. The safari was super nice, we saw the leopard, elephant and our favourite: the sloth bear. For a full day safari they arrange breakfast, lunch and some snacks so it was good worth of money.

Very nice accommodation in a calm location near the Wilpattu National Park. It has a nice and clean pool and is in the middle of nature, which makes it truly peaceful. Besides the nice environment, I would like to underline the hospitality of the people working here. They arranged a nice tour in the park for a price lower than what we found online, they cooked delicious meals, prepared a packed breakfast for our tour and coffee to help us not to sleep in the park. 🙂 I would definitely recommend staying here.

Staying at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was like being welcomed into a family. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched.
