We came late at wetland resort they have made a nice welcome for us ,morning we have a nice breakfast and a nice little guy name silva was their for us all time ,he always help us anytime we wanted ..the owner where really amaizing person ,the lady was really amaizing well-done thanks again for the great tasty food that we eat really nice the devilled pork i recommend it.we do enjoy so much their and the pool was a breathtaking and medium hot woow you can stay the whole day night too woow..it was a pleasure staying with you and see you back really soon ..we grade you 2000%. A+. A+.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and attached bathroom were big and clean. The shower was one of best we had in Sri Lanka. Very early airport shuttle was provided by the host at a reasonable price. There are lots of restaurants close by. Very much recommended.

The place is super nice and peaceful. The breakfast was great, rooms has a pleasant atmosphere. The owner was so lovely and very supportive. Helped us when we needed to get to ATM and order a transport to the airport. Highly reccomend if you want to support local business!!! We will stay there again for sure!

I had a great experience at JMF Hotel during my stay. Despite arriving early at 4 am, the staff were incredibly accommodating, and someone was there to check me in and even carry my bags, which was a thoughtful touch. The room itself was comfortable, with a private bathroom and shower that met all my needs. What truly stood out was the assistance from the hotel attendant. They were not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about local activities and where to find things in the city, making my visit much more enjoyable. The attention to detail and excellent service made my stay at JMF Hotel a pleasant one, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

    I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.

    Perfect one/two nights on arrival take a tuktuk tour its worth it and last night before you leave. Negombo is 30 mins to the main SRI Lankan Airport, much close than Colombo. Also all hotels have UK plug sockets which is useful

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. The food places like Prego, Toro pub, Bamboo Kitchen with Shisha, Rodeo are some of the amazing places. The Browns Beach and the people are amazing and loving. Infact Poruthota road has a SPA CEYLON boutique you can use it for mssage rituals from Luxury Ayurveda. Beautiful coastal lines, fsh markets, churches etc. A must visit.

    Most of the hotels and places to stay are on/near the...

    Most of the hotels and places to stay are on/near the tourist strip. The city centre is a tuk tuk drive away which is full of local people not many tourists. We did a tuk tuk town tour which was fun and nice to see the sights. We did the boat cruise at muthalajewela marsh lands and negomboo lagoon which was great for seeing birds and animals. We did a cooking class which was a great authentic experience. We walked along the beach which was pleasant but the rubbish is ashame, think the rubbish everywhere is a problem which isn't seen back home. The restaurants have western food and few sri lankan options. We found a food stall at night near the dolphin roundabout which did roti...yum chocolate and banana ones they also sold other sri lankan food. Owner was very welcoming. Not sure how price was charged,think probably tourist price and local price but still cheaper than proper restaurant. Overall great way to introduce the family to Sri Lanka...think a lot of people end there trip here. We bought a dialog sim at the airport so we could use apps for transport...pickme app like uber but sri lankan version and better. Also use uber. Tuk tuks aplenty here. The apps are good so you can put in where you want to go and where to be picked up from. Also sim good for what's app as most people use what's app. There are a number of ATM's some charge to use them..commercial bank was free. There is a larger supermarket down one end of the strip, there are a number of little convience store along the road if one doesn't have what you want another will :) By the time we left we had seen all the tourist things to see and do.

    Negombo Beach is a tourist resort strip. Negombo old town, and markets are worth a visit. Express bus from bus station to Colombo 50 mins instead of 2 hrs . 20 mins from Airport , good for a day or 2.

    Very nice place wich was located in a nice and quiet area just a few minutes walk away from Negombo beach and all the restaurants and shops. The owner and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night and got a welcome drink and an early check-in was also not a problem. the pool and the Ayurveda retreats were great! definitely recommend staying here - it was the perfect start to our Sri Lanka trip!:)

    We arrived in Sri Lanka in the middle of the night and awoke in the morning to a nice little courtyard with swimming pool and friendly staff. We arranged for the hotel to pick us up from the airport which did happen after a little back and forth trying to arrange it on WhatsApp, so that was helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and we were able to leave our bags after checking out while we explored the beach nearby.

    Attractive hotel in Negombo with stylish bedroom and poolside area. The owners were friendly and helpful with things to do and where to eat. I was in need of a break from travelling around and wasn't a fan of the beach so it was really good to have the pool. The pool area was kept clean and nice touches like flowers and buddha statue.

    Very nice place near the beach. Value for money. Cozy pool onsite of the hotel. Relaxing place after long journey 👍. Breakfast was Sri Lankan and western both in the morning before the flight.     Large 1 bedroom apartment with comfortable sitting room, all the amenities you could need, including a gym and pool on the ground floor. Easy access to lots of restaurants in the area. We had the best coffee in Sri Lanka at the zen café about 100 meters from the hotel. Direct access to the beach.
