Recently stayed at Tara Waterfall Hotel for a night and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is a perfect example of modern minimal architecture, with its sleek design and glass walls. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the Handapan ella waterfall from our room and pretty much from everywhere in hotel. Waking up to such a stunning sight was truly unforgettable. The room was very comfortable and large and had a balcony overlooking the tea estate and waterfall. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Food was also good and reasonably priced.

i loved this place! its a true gem that feels like its in the middle of nowhere. youre surrounded by beautiful nature and an amazing view! we were the only guests and so we could enjoy the quiet and the coziness to the fullest. the host, sumith was so nice and welcoming and they serve traditional sri lanken but also other food that is made with so much love! the architecture of the main house is just stunning and really special. you‘re being taken very good care of by the host and i can warmly recommend the tour with him where you get to see a tea factory, waterfalls, temples and so on. everything felt super easy going and we asked sumith like a thousand questions about sri lanka and the culture and so on and had amazing discussions and talks with him. the area is super quiet except for some nature sounds - which was super soothing. also, the temperature is perfect for a good nights sleep, since balangoda is slightly elevated. 10/10 we loved the escape from busy ella and ahangama to this calming nature stay🔥

Best expirence you will have in sri lanka ! First of all the house itself is a peace of art ! You can see the hostes think of every small detail and alot ofoney was invested to make sure gusstes are happy ! From the uniqe decoration to the tje built of the house and matireals of huge stones and wood all over rhe house huge speaker system the mosf beautofull jungle view i had ever seen ! And most importent the hosts ! Lovely couple that you can feel the love and hospitalety they give to the guestes from high qualify diverss meales made by a chef how is the owner to the rides trips and all requesr we had they did more then we ever expected and with a huge smile every timr !! Surly the besf faciliys best foid best view and best hospitalety i had ever recived ! No words will be enoghu ! Thank you jani and malu ! We are for sure going to be your guestes soon ! We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same.
