We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!

Our stay in this guesthouse was simply lovely. Giida is a great, warm and friendly host - and a great cook! We had dinner twice and it was d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s! We got hot coffee (even at 5:30 in the morning) and water and enjoyed the hammocks and the garden. The facilities are simple and functional and overall the guesthouse offers great value for money. Don't hesitate and book your stay here - it's amazing.

Amazing place to stay with wonderful staff. Very friendly and willing to help with anything. Kitchen closes at 6pm (at least on the day we were there) but they made delicious dinner for us at 7:30 pm. We had a top floor room with stunning views and a very comfortable bed. Accommodation is next to the road so can be a bit noisy at night.

Staying at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was like being welcomed into a family. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, the surprise upgrade, and world-class cuisine made this stay truly special. It was only a one-night stay but really a great experience. We were received with a cold drink and even had the chance to go to the lake for a walk and see animals. The dinner was delicious and the next morning the safari was a great experience, we saw leopards and that really made my day. Nice hospitality and good communication in order to make all the plans. Would recommend a stay here without any doubts and Wilpattu is a great National Park.

I had a great stay in the middle of the jungle! 🌿 The room was well equipped, clean, with air conditioning and a nice open-air shower. The staff were an absolute 10/10, super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Be aware that it’s truly located in the jungle, which makes the experience even more unique and peaceful. Loved to wake up by the sound of the nature. The food was delicious. Especially in the evenings and they went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions, really putting in so much effort and care 🥹🤝🏽 There’s also a dedicated space for yoga, which I loved. One evening, we even went together to the nearby lake, hoping to spot elephants. Instead, we saw three crocodiles! 🐊 Thank you! Highly recommended! 🌸
