It is more beautiful a place than the pictures-if that’s possible! We spent 3 days, one just relaxing in the premises and we don’t think we can get over it! The people working are really helpful, really kind and provide you with anything you need. From their welcome until their tips for our departure, they were tireless and obliging. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Also, they can arrange any visit in the nearby monuments and cities with excellent service. Bonus for us: on the day of our departure monkeys were playing outside our room, which we enjoyed so much. Can’t recommend it enough!!!!!

The place is way beyond every expectation and the hosts are the most amazing couple we could ever meet! I would need an entire book to list everything that impressed us positively. The accomodation is really cozy and super comfortable and the setting is magical, really quiet and immerse in nature. The breakfast, all home made, was delicious and Dammika was incredibly kind to come and pick us up at the train station. Will never recommend this place enough, I’m so thankful! Can’t wait to come back

Beautiful big room with a mini bar and lovely comfy bed. The staff were very friendly and went out their way to help us out. Very close to the train station and elephant tours. The surroundings were beautiful and the room was absolutely pristine.

We had such a memorable 1 days here. Maleesha was quick to respond to every message and made check-in super easy. The accommodation is stylish and unusual, with a round house and outdoor bathrooms that felt very special. The property is big, green, and full of wildlife. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and listening to the sounds of nature. prepared a barbecue for us one night which was delicious, and the breakfast spread each morning was also excellent. Everything felt very homely, and we appreciated the kindness of everyone. Highly recommend staying here

Location is calm and peaceful. They have a nice infinity swimming pool overlooking lake , Staff is so welcoming and well trained. Good restaurant and good sitting places. Rooms are spacious and kept very neat and tidy. The sunset view is absolutely amazing from room and pool this hotel. Totally worth the money.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible hosts, Madhu, her husband and Komari. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful, calm location with a spice garden, created by our lovely hosts, outside of busy and loud Habarana. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony, modern aircondition and very good  water pressure. A short swimming in the pool in the morning was a fantastic way to start a long, hot day. It is just a short walk from the property. They are building a pool on the property right now (september 2025). The food was absolutely delicious — authentic Sri Lankan flavors at it's best. Madhu and Komari are great cooks and prepared all kinds of delicious traditional dishes with so much knowledge and love. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner for five days and they were happy to show us  the incredible variety of Srilankan food. Certainly the best food experience we had on our trip! What truly made the experience special was their extraordinary kindness and hospitality. They did everything to make us feel like home. Thank you and ayubowan, Madhu and her kind husband, Komari and the rest of the crew, for making our trip so memorable. We hope to come back to this wonderful place. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience at Sky forest. Loved everything about the stay. It's amazing how the architecture of the cabanas and tree house blends with nature seamlessly. The caretaker is friendly and professional. Attentive to our needs immediately. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Clean and spacious washroom. The food was great. I would like to recommend this place to anyone who is looking to stay calmly and peacefully escape from the busy lifestyle. Thank you Sky forest for the wonderful experience. ☺️ (Budget triple room )

I had a fantastic experience at this property! The food was delicious, local food with a great variety. What really stood out was the excellent customer service—the staff was attentive and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Good location to visit the National parks where Elephants...

Good location to visit the National parks where Elephants roam. Take a short drive to Ritigala and be amazed at the heritage site of a millenia old large forest monastery. Dine at the Ran Rasa restaurant for one of the best Chicken Koththus you will taste..

Beautiful jungle surrounds. Lots of activities. Safari doesn't tell you about all the extra costs involved. Entry fee big. Tip for animal spotter. The Harabana lake cruise is brilliant. No motor just a gentle paddle, allowing you get up close to wildlife

There are loads to do in Habarana.

There are loads to do in Habarana. Nice places to eat and drink. One unexpected pleasure was the village safari. You go for a ride on a old tractor, then a lovely boat ride across the lake. You are then shown the old traditional way of preparing and make food. Also shown other local crafts.

We went to this area and stayed at the Cinnamon Habarana...

We went to this area and stayed at the Cinnamon Habarana Village for 2 noghts. This gave us time to visit Pidirangula the rock opposite Sigiyeria Rock, Polonuwara ruins, Minneriya Safari parks and a couple of village tours to see how locaal live and eat. These village tours I would recommend as you get to try local curries made by the villagers which are authentic. Pidurangula is the same height as Lions Rock but a quarter of the price. The only thing you miss out on is seeing the ruins at the top of the ancient civilisation. Minneriya was fantastic. We did this as a last minute decision as we were advised there were more elephants here than in the Yala Safari park which we had already booked to visit in the south. We were so glad we did this as there were plenty of elephants to see and capture on camera. The ruins around this area are a plenty and definitely worth visiting as they are centuries old and date back to when Buddha came into the country. When visiting any ruins or temples men musat wear a sarong to cover their knees and women have to cover their shoulders and knees. Wearing t shirts and 3/4 linen trousers are ideal. We had a private tour guide with his car that we hired for an 8 day tour so he knew where to go, and came with us at each attraction. Would recommend touring Sri Lanka in this manner and using Madhu of Nesi Tours Srilanka. He is able to help with itineraries and pricing. We had a fabulous trip in this beautiful country with

Super nice hotel and very friendly hosts. We felt welcome from the first second. The tree houses and the area around are beautiful, there is a nice pool and a lot of things to do in Habarana. The hosts helped us with every activities, sightseeing or finding drivers. Although the prices are higher than the Sri Lankan level, you get full service and experience so that the price is legitimate for everything! We would recommend everybody to go there and enjoy the time in the nature!

It was our second time in this hotel. Its one of the best hotels for us in Sri Lanka. We loved it there. All the people who work there are so friendly!! Its so peaceful there. We made an private afternoon tour to the Nationalpark with Sudath and it was great!!! One of the best things we do in our life!! Thank you so much Sudath for this special Time! And thanks to All the other nice people who work there.

Thanks for all! Jeewa and his family has been super kind all the time we have spent here. They also helped us making clear our plans around Sri Lanka, and have taught us how to cook Sri Lankan dishes. We were not sure about spending one night in Habarana, but finally we spent two! It's a perfect spot if you are coming/going to Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura.

The hotel was surrounded by nature but a just a short drive to Habarana town. The hotel grounds are well taken care of and the perfect place to relax Staff were also attentive and friendly. The food at the hotel was extremely good and prepared fresh when you ordered.

A lovely rustic style hotel with a great pool. The family running the hotel were wonderful, especially the mother who cooked a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on request. Her husband and sons were very helpful too.
