This is the best hotel we’ve been in Sri Lanka! The place is amazing, in the middle of nature with an amazing view from the pool and from the balcony. The room is also very nice, decorated with good taste and very clean. Even more we appreciated the staff in this hotel, all of them are very friendly and always ready to help with anything in the minute we ask for something. The food here is also great. We really loved our stay here and extended it for 4 more nights!

10 out of 10. Highlights: the owners and the property itself. We stayed in a twin room that looks like your own apartment. Clean sheets, towels, a fan and mosquito nets are provided and the shower/toilet is outside clean and with warm water. There are also some chairs outside of the room where you can chill. The location is nice, less than 10min walk from the center/bus station and in a quite area. Furthermore, in the common open area there are some tables, a fridge and some kitchen gadgets to cook for yourself if needed. The area is so welcoming to have some breakfast, chill or as I did, to do some laptop work (wifi works perfectly!) Couldn’t ask for more, specially the owners, they are so kind, welcoming and taking care of every detail and helping with everything we needed. We were planing to stay one night and ended up staying five! Highly recommended!

Hotel La Dolce Vita left only the best impressions! 🏝️ • Perfect location — right on the oceanfront. • Brand-new hotel — everything is modern and fresh. • Service is truly excellent, the staff does everything to make your stay perfect. • They organized a birthday celebration for us on the rooftop — planned everything themselves, decorated, and made it absolutely wonderful! 🎉 • Always helped with any questions, even those not related to the hotel. One of the best stays I’ve had on Booking.com. The host is a genuinely good guy — always smiling, always ready to help. His family lives downstairs, guests stay upstairs — you get full privacy and peace of mind. The rooms are spacious, with a fan, AC, and hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s always fresh bottled drinking water available. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, covering the entire property — perfect if you work remotely or just want a stable connection for streaming or calls. Every morning starts with jungle sounds — birds, peacocks — peaceful and refreshing. It’s just a 7-minute scooter ride to the center of Weligama, and the road is smooth all the way, so getting around is easy and stress-free. The second floor is kept clean, and they’ll change towels and bed linen upon request. Security cameras cover the yard, so you can even leave your stuff outside without worrying. Solid spot — clean, private, well-connected. Would definitely stay again.

This villa is a rare find! We loved the private pool, room was spacious and clean, beautiful peaceful location and the staff were kind and friendly. They were very kind to our 4yr old son. Lalith was especially great, his English is good and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and a good variety to choose from. The free tuk tuk to Mirissa each day is also great.
