A small exclusive hotel, with modern room (quiet A/C), nice entrance, garden and pool. Staff very helpful and nice. They organized great safari with reasonable prize to us and let us to use the pool afterwards, although the check-out time was already over. Excellent milk shakes and fresh fruit juices.

Gayan was a fantastic host and he does so much for his guests, e.g. getting you to places close to his location and pick up again, a short evening lake tour, organize different things upon requests of guests, etc. all without additional costs. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable experience! The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, truly deserving of a 10+. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The dinner that was included was absolutely delicious, and we savored every bite. We felt like we were in paradise during our stay, surrounded by beauty and tranquility. The hosts even provided bicycles, which allowed us to explore the area at our own pace. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The best stay we had in our entire trip around Sri Lanka! Just can’t recommend it enough! Very clean room, big clean bathroom with hot shower and an amazing yard with lake view. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast, some of the best meals we had. Lovely host and very attentive with our needs. Hardworking staff - the results are impeccable. They also arranged a wonderful safari trip, we would like to also thank Indika for making sure we have an amazing experience! Thank you Saffron Lake Yala! 🥰

Everything was amazing. We can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Upul. He was so kind, and helped us with everything we needed. The owner gave us free cake, free lunch and a free tour around the lake to show us he’s culture and village. After travelling around many countries in Asia, this was the most kind and generous host we have ever encountered. We are very gratefull for this experience and hospitality!
