The location was picturesque, staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the stay was really comfortable with all the comforts that you'd expect in any good hotel. Breakfast was exceptional and included, the evening meal was outstanding, order your drinks so they have them in, our preference is bottled Lion beer and ginger beer shandy, refreshing in the heat I read other peoples reviews and I had to include this homestay in our trip, Hungama doesn't attract the usual tourist but it was quite convenient to Yala and easy to access Bundala national parks. Our host, Sagara, took an hour out of his day to walk with us which was interesting and informative..

This hotel is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. We've visited several places, and this is our favorite. It's beautifully located, allowing you to walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone. The beach is pristine, free of litter, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Amazing location as the property was in beach front, with a little gate giving access to the beach. Due to being low season we are the only guest but the quality of the stay was not impacted, and the host was amazing. Swimming pool is modern and it was clear even if it was just for us. The room was clean , spacious and air conditioning was powerful. We recommend the local breakfast with sea view. Lunch and dinner was not possible during our stay but host recommended us 'Priya Moon Cafe and Seafood Restaurant' located 500m away and it was so good we came back during the second night.

Absolutely Everything - the most amazing place with the most incredible staff. Kamal and his team are absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough - easily the best place we have ever stayed driven hugely by the fantastic staff! We will without doubt be back in the future!

of all the places we have visited,this is the most beautiful, peaceful, perfect villa. The view from the room was so tremendous. Owners were very friendly and they prepared our requested room perfectly.Rooms, Service, View, foods, place, pool, atmosphere, peacefulness and Everything about this villa were so perfect.
