I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance. The local people are very nice and helpful. The local food was delicious, and the environment was a relaxing atmosphere. If you get lost any local would help you with directions or even take you to your destination. Pakse had many Buddhist monuments that you can walk into and explore and take pictures. I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall.

Pakse is probably one of the most beautiful places with really incredible people. We rented a bike, it was safe for us there are not many cars on the road and the ones on scooter drive safely. We rented the scooter via the hotel, drove the waterfalls and all around Paske.The have a great market, really good . restaurantsGuest review byDan - 4.0

Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center. Few good restaurants, and few people speak English. You have to have a scooter to get anywhere. There are interesting places in the area but not many of them are properly developed. Rather, their best years are behind them. The hotel is like an oasis in the middle of a not so interesting city, the pool is amazing and so are the rooms. Really clean and really cozy space. The location is not central so you need to keep paying taxis or rent a scooter (or use their useful shuttle service at night) but besides that if you are in Pakse stay there. Really nice breakfast. It was 2 bunk beds in the room so not too busy. The beds were comfortable and had everything you need including a socket light and curtain. The bathrooms were shared but were always kept clean.
