This is a very nice and quaint small city with everything you need. People are friendly here and there are not many tourists as compared to big cities like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Easy to walk around and explore the sights and also plenty of eating options and transport. We were made very welcome & the staff were very polite & helpful. We flew in from the UK early in the morning & we were able to leave our luggage with the hotel until we checked in at 3pm which made things alot easier. Everything you could possibly need is provided, from toiletries (including toothbrush & paste) to nightwear. Although it is close to the station, it was very quiet.
