It’s clean, the staff are very attentive - although sadly couldn’t help us get a taxi when we left in the pouring rain. But that is the only gripe. The hotel not only provides plenty of extra amenities (toothbrush etc), but also has a laundrette (a few yen extra) and a microwave on the third floor. We had a room with a view of the castle. Check-in and check-out are perfect, the breakfast is simple but nothing to complain about, the location is perfect. And there is also a great rooftop area, you can grab a coffee or beer and admire the view. There are no complaints about the condition of the rooms and the work of the staff - everything is at the highest level.
