Traditional Japanese accommodation, quaint but well-equipped inside. Air-conditioning, mattresses to sleep on the floor, sofa, well-equipped kitchen, great shower with good hot water and pressure, washing machine, microwave oven, no convection oven (but inductio hob and a grill), fridge-freezer, umbrellas provided. Toilet had no heating and there was no bidet (not a 'Japanese toilet'). Separate from the shower. About 10 minutes' walk to the nearest train station to take us into Osaka. Taxi from airport 9,000 JPY. Very scenic surroundings with a stream adjacent, a temple nearby, cafe, etc.

The location and the aesthetics are amazing. Very clean, amazing breakfasts and friendly staff. The luggage storage area was a huge plus. The onsen or even the in room baths are amazing for travel weary travellers!
