The owner is friendly and amiable. When we arrive the location of the room, he has already turned on the heater. Besides, room is quite spacious for 2 people. And there is a samll bathtub that you can take a bath for 1 person each time. Futthermore, tableware and cooking pots are available. In the morning, view is beautiful that you overlook the sea and port.

The BBQ area was great, the house was spacious, and the kitchen was very practical and easy to use. Being away from the city, we were lucky to encounter some local wildlife and enjoy a beautiful, star-filled night sky.

I stayed at this hotel in Abashiri for two nights and had a great experience overall. The room was quite small, but that’s pretty standard for Japan, and it was arranged in a smart and comfortable way, so it didn’t bother us at all. What really stood out was the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing—especially the sashimi and other fresh seafood. Honestly, the quality of the food was impressive, something I’d normally expect from a high-end restaurant, not a hotel breakfast. Another highlight was the onsen. I used it every morning and evening. It’s located on the top floor, and the view over the Abashiri River and the coast made the experience extra special. Soaking in the hot bath while watching the scenery was just perfect, especially during winter. The location is also very convenient. It’s within walking distance to the train station, the bus terminal, and the port where you can take the icebreaker cruise. Everything you might need is nearby. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Abashiri!

Excellent Japanese style dinner and bento breakfast. Able to accommodate three in a room which makes it much more economical. Good sized rooms and modern interior.
