The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place with an amazing view. The rooms were lovely, well-equipped, and just a 10-minute walk from the beach. Katsu is a very kind, attentive, and helpful host – we truly appreciated his support and interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would warmly recommend it to anyone. Lovely host family, everything was always super clean, enough toilets and showers (since everything is shared I think that's an important thing to mention), kitchen has everything you need, common room feels nice and cozy, dorm has enough space for everyone to keep their stuff and beds were comfy :)
