Our entire stay was beautiful from beginning to end. My partner and I travelled across Japan for around two weeks, and this might have been our favourite place to stay. The location, the staff, the room and the meals were exceptional. My favourite part were the facilities and the kindness of the staff. I have never felt so welcome as a customer and as a guest! Every course of our evening meal was visually stunning and delicious!

the best ryokan experience and more. we booked a room with private bath and full board. the room was huge with a massage chair, 2 big screen tv, separate room for toilet and shower and even a closet. all the amenities were amazing, they even have facial cleanser, toner and moisturiser. there’s even yukata for you to wear. there’s also a nespresso machine. the private onset was bliss, big enough to fit 2 and next to it is a beautifully made Japanese garden. we had a beautiful romantic getaway. and don’t worry about it being far, there’s a shuttle bus service you can request with the ryokan.

Super clean and spacious. The host are very nice and thoughtful young couple. I needed a pet friendly for a reason. They even prepared and provide a pet feeding bowl and pet wipe etc to care my dear pug. I will recommend this place to anyone. The accomodation is located 15-20 minutes walk from Kameoka station which is probably about 20 min from Kyoto. Also communication is great. They will responds very quickly.

We loved it once we stepped into the hotel - elegant setting around, courteous and helpful staff. The room was beautifully set up and decorated, and had a stunning view of the mountain with red leaves. Cocktail and breakfast were first rate, with excellent food and service, in a comfortable and tastefully decorated restaurant, with seats facing the beautiful mountain. It was our wedding anniversary, and the hotel was very thoughtful in preparing a nice floral pot in our room.

Luxury hotel a few steps away from JR Saga Arashiyama. Reception area was tiny though. Took a while in checking-in bec needed to verify payment witg very little English so a lot of google translate uaed. Other than that, would have loved to stay longer regardless of my destination.
