Near Hemije only 30mins away on local JR train, so convenient for visiting Hemije castle. This is a truly authentic Ryokan in a small town. The town is unremarkable, but the rooms and the meal was absolutely Fantastic, and perhaps the most authentic experience of a Ryokan we had over a 16 day trip in Japan. I would definitely recommend and i hope one day myself to return.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating for finding a room for an extra night and for taking delivery of a large box containing my rental bicycle. I could not have expected more from them.
