The service at this hotel was the best we got on our trip this year. Everyone on the staff is extremely friendly. Shipping lugage was spotless, no self-service style. You're fully helped by the staff. We had rooms on the 17th floor, no noise at all from the train station below. Breakfast is very extensive and really well tasting. And again with great staff. Location is perfect if you want to do train trips to Itsukushima and Fukuoka like we did.

+ right next to 101/102 bus stop - this can take you to the train station (10-15 minutes). + walking distance (20 minutes) to peace park/ museum. + about 10 minutes walking distance to Hindori shopping street + bed was comfortable and shower gel/shampoo provided. Strong shower pressure! + able to leave bags with reception before I check in + I did not have hotel breakfast but they give kettle and tea bags (collect from reception). I had to use my own instant coffee. FamilyMart close by for a nice store sandwich!

    Didn't explore much beyond the Peace Memorial Park, the Vitims memorial (so quiet and thought provoking, they have used the sound of water very well) and some nearby streets as only here for an afternoon and a morning. It certainly makes you question why atomic bombs were ever developed and affirms that they should never be used again. Seeing trees that survived the bomb, and listening to an 'in utero' survivor was moving too. On a happier note the okonomyaki is very much recommended. So easy to get around using trams.

    Quiet, orderly place where the emphasis is on peace, forgiveness and rejuvenation. Was ironic to sit there and contemplate what is currently going on in the world. Amazing how much was left standing and conversely how much was destroyed. The stone marking the hypocentre is very understated. We had some very good Okonomiyake recommended from a Google maps review,in a tiny place that seated approximately 4 people but was delicious.

    We thought our trip, which lasted 2 days was just about right, maybe one more day would have been good. We visited the bomb site and museum on the first day which is a must. The second day we had a trip to Miyajima island which was really worth the effort. We went over on a ferry using our Suica card which also paid for the train. We took the cable cars to the peak of the mountain. The famous temple gate in the sea was really worth seeing both at low and high tides.

    Great location and easy to navigate.

    Great location and easy to navigate. It is more than the Atomic Dome albeit the importance of this site, the people, culture and friendliness of people in Hiroshima is the real charm. Would definitely return.

    Everyone should go to Peace Park.

    Everyone should go to Peace Park. There is so much to see there and it is very nicely done. Warning that children should be prepared for the museum and displays. It was difficult as an adult, but very glad I went. Garden by castle was beautiful.

    Very impressed with the peace memorial , museum and surrounds. Walking distance between all sights. Easy to walk to sights , lots of great places to eat and shop. So much better value than Tokyo or Osaka Great place to spend a day at Miyajima and return to. Very happy we spent two days here . Very easy to get around , great public transport and a very walkable city. Must try the Hiroshima pancakes - fun watching them Make them in front of you .

    Wonderful small hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood, approx 10 minutes walk from Hiroshima train station. Staff were extremely welcoming, polite and helpful. We stayed in a Tatami Suite double room with balcony. The room was very spacious and well equipped, with plenty of seating and storage space. The balcony had a lovely view of the river. Would highly recommend this hotel.

    Hotel very close the Hiroshima Memorial area, very accessible thanks to the transports line. Small but very well organized room, with very comfortable beds. Historic and popular areas to visit less than 15min away, was the perfect spot for our short visit in the city. The rooftop bar was a perfect spot to enjoy the end of the day after a very intense visiting day.
