We had a deluxe double room with balcony, super clean room with washer dryer, cooking amenities. We stayed 4 days to explore the island. Very conveniently located, closed to the boardwalk and good restaurants ( Sandbox for the best burgers and beer). The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and friendly, especially Raut! Great stay, highly recommend!

There are 2 best things about this hotel… the first one is the position, close to the beach and the American Village, also close to the bus connection, only 8 minutes to walk from the bus stop that brought me there from Naha airport. Last but not least is the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, in my specific case, I forgot in my room a couple of items and when I realized I was already in Naha in a different accommodation. After I contacted them they were very kind and they helped me bring to my actual accommodation the Items that I left there. Who does something like that? Only amazing people… thank you so much again for that. The Room was very clean and spacious and the view was amazing… I definitely will comeback again.

    We stayed three nights and that was enough for us. Beaches need more atmosphere, loungers, restaurants, shade etc. Also realised you need to hire a car cause America town and closes beaches got boring after three days.

    The places I needed and wanted to go to were all within -20...

    The places I needed and wanted to go to were all within -20 minutes from each other. The area is nice and walkable, some family marts and Lawsons on the way if you need to stop for a quick snack or need to pick something last minute. Many places to eat just put what you like on the gps and go. Be wary that not of the places will have parking available.

    Relaxed calm atmosphere, contrary to adjacent American village. Lots of small local places with great food and bars. Great for surfers and divers and people who simply enjoy quiet vacation by the beach.

    I expected a beach area with a south pacific vibe.

    I expected a beach area with a south pacific vibe. Instead it was a theme park. We couldnt use the beach that the hotel overlooked because it was closed and had to walk 2 beaches over. Very disappointed.

    Chatan is an ideal location for people visiting family...

    Chatan is an ideal location for people visiting family members in the military. It's very close to most of the bases, and has a wide selection of hotels. There is public transportation, but It's very walkable (in most areas). We felt very safe walking around. The America Village there has lots of shops, restaurants and bars. There were three or four beaches that we saw.

    Location is quite far from the airport.

    Location is quite far from the airport. However the sunset is exceptional and the restaurants are on the beach so you can get an excellent view. American village sort of reminds me of a cross between Disney and Vegas.

    The hotel and our room was great. Can not fault it! The room was big, with a kitchenette, washing machine, dryer and clothes rack. The bed was soft and comfortable. The aircon worked great. It's a short walk to American Village, and the Araha beach, which has a stinger net and offers other water activities like parasailing. There is two supermarkets close by, there is also numerous bars, but lacking local food unless you want burgers and American food each night. The park and the beach, along with the view from the room was fantastic.

    It offered so much inclusive to the room booking, such as free laundry washing (drying was a very small price), communal area to eat and even bikes to use for free. The guy at the front desk was fantastic in answering any questions and helping me locate shops nearby

    Location was pretty good; within walking distance to both the Aeon Chatan Mall and the San-A shopping centre. The hotel buffet was good value for the money. Staff were friendly. Also close to car rental place.
