We loved our friendly hosts and their family, nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind and helpful, a delicious breakfast each morning and with ideas for exploring and the loan of their electric bikes, wonderful biking around the countryside. Biei is a perfect small town, easy to get around, great restaurants. We drove to Asahidake and despite a cloudy light rain day we loved a day hike to Susodaira Valley and on towards Nakodake Onsen, afterwards a divine soak at Asahidake Onsen. Arigato

I call the owner "Aunty" who is very appreciate every guest.She tries her best to cook beautiful healthy breakfast and also tries to talk with us although must use "translation ",haha...I love her so much and everywhere is supper clean. Pension/Room: Very comfortable and clean. We had our own dinner and breakfast at the common dining room. Location: Beautiful area in the heart of the Biei landscape. The iconic tree, Ken & Marry tree, is located just next to the pension (as the name of the pension implies). Pension owner: Very kind couple in their 70s. They extended their help in many ways. Their English is limited but they are trying their best to communicate.

    Really beautiful location in Biei and central located among the key sights i Biei and the surrounding area. The pension is very clean and well-kept and the hosts were so nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also really good.
