Amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Everything was very clean, and the fragrance throughout the hotel was wonderful. They gave me an upgrade, which was such a nice surprise! 😍The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was huge, modern, and included a bidet. I stayed only one night, but it was a great experience. If I return to beautiful Venice, I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect—just a 3–4 minute walk to the water taxi station and about a 10–15 minute walk to the city center. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a restaurant and a small grocery store nearby.

We were not prepared for the prices of things in Venice, but perhaps should of been. Bottled water was very expensive even at a restaurant when ordering a meal. GPS is required to get around as it can be confusing to navigate. Venice is a must see as it is such a unique city. I would suggest if flying in take a train from the airport then take a water bus to the closest pier to your hotel.

For first time visitors Venice is an incredible city so...

For first time visitors Venice is an incredible city so different to anywhere else, especially that very first scenic approach from exiting the station. Very easy to use transport system. Don’t really need more than a 3 day bus pass as everywhere is within walking distance. Look for the direction signs at eye level or above on corners of alleyways. Unfortunately, a multiday waterbus pass is for consecutive time therefore can’t be planned for individual day usage. You can use the waterbus ticket to visit Murano from the San Marco stop. Be aware that although pretty and different , Murano has nothing but shops and factories of glass. A good time to avoid queues at popular attractions is an hour or so before they close when all the large tour groups have gone back to the cruise ships. Cheap but tasty lunches in many restaurants are the cicchetti (small rounds of toast with a selection of savoury toppings) plus a glass of Italian wine of course. Any museum or church is worth a visit particularly the Ca Rezzonica at only 10 euros and you have a lovely small walled garden to sit and ponder the whole experience. A final recommendation is to the real taste of Venice. An evening at the opera at the Scuola Grande Di San Teodoro. Not too long or heavy going but a very entertaining selection of beautiful arias that most people would have heard before and so professionally performed.

I have been to Venice many times and always find new things each time I go. I prefer to stay north of the Grand canal away from the worst of tourists spots. Vaparettos are the best way to get around and great for visiting the islands.

This must be one of the best hotels in Venice. Even though part of a large hotel chain, it still has the small family hotel atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble with staff going beyond their call of duty. The position of the hotel must be the best in Venice, literally on the Grand Canal opposite a beautiful church Santa Maria della Salute and only minutes away from St Mark's Square. yet still peaceful away from the crowds.

Very friendly couple host. Nice and clean room, great shower. Best breakfast selection we had in Italy with meats and cheese, cereal, biscuits and fruit to hand. Gave us tips about travelling in Venice which was nice. Perfect location 1 min walk to tram stop and shops and restaurants close by. Tram takes you centre of Venice within 20 mins or so. Hosts let us keep our bags there after check out which was nice as we had a late evening flight.
