We traveled with our little dog throughout Europe but the staff at Varese made us feel at home and fell in love with our dog named Leonardo which opened up our hearts for the staff and the hotel. We were just minutes away from visiting the famous "Villa Panza" and the famous collection of many of his Arts. a wonderful place with so much to do - the sacre monte, lots and lots of historic gardens, in walking distance the Villa Panza with amazing art and gardens - have lunch there it is fabulous. Despite traveling to Italy yearly, I had never visited Varese until now. I was initially hesitant to stay in Varese since I needed to be within an hour from Milan for the Salone del Mobile, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the city. Varese was vibrant both during the day and at night, with a plethora of excellent restaurants and cafes to explore. Its proximity to the stunning lakes of Como and Varese was also a huge plus. The sight of the snow-covered Alps provided a picturesque backdrop that made Varese even more special. The charming cobbled streets in the city center were lined with pretty buildings that showcased the history of the area. Although we only stayed for two days, I could have easily extended my stay for a week or more.Guest review byAna

It has certainly not gone downhill in the least. A very comfortable experience, enhanced by the impeccably professional staff, my stay was all too brief. My room was a self-contained double with a bathroom witha proper walk-in shower with accurate water and temerature control and a sun trap balcony. I ate breakfast and dinner in house and enjoyed every mouthful. Large room with comfy beds. I had an amazing massage but unfortunately was too early for the opening of the pool which is in most hotels at the end of May.
