Were there off-season: very few people, many places closed, lots of free parking space everywhere! Rather complicated access to the beaches. Beware of leaving bikes, even if locked in remote places, the tyres of our bikes had been punctured, probably in preparation to be stolen later at night. Location of the property. You should have a car to roam around if you are staying at this property. Plenty of walking options around the beach. good restaurants near by. Hotel restaurant has limited varieties. morning breakfast is minimal. they charge you 8Euro for omelette which is nonsense to my view. you cannot say breakfast included and add some addons to it to loot people instead of serving better food. Staff need to be trained to serve customers better. if you want to be truly international, you need to come out of that aggressive talking to customer ( may be Italian nature).Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Tirrenia is a nice beach city close to Pisa and Livorno.
Tirrenia is a nice beach city close to Pisa and Livorno. The city seems to be more a holiday destination and I guess it is more and more crowdy in summer than in winter. It s close by Livorno ferry harbor which is very convenient place to stay if you have an early boarding (15 minutes) . Fabulous location and very helpful staff (especially Alessandra on reception) BUT the property is very out dated with old furniture,uncomfortable chairs in bed room & uncomfortable sofa in living room . We were given every help by the hotel staff, including a compressor to re-pressurise the tyre. Unfortunately this wasn't successful and we had to leave the car at the hotel and transfer to the airport by taxi. Throughout this the hotel staff were very re-assuring, and made sure that a taxi arrived on time to take us to the airport.
