Tirano is a really nice little town, busy with plenty of visitors, but also with plenty of locals out and about enjoying the restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we had time to explore the old town and wished we had a bit more time to visit more of the restaurants. We arrived via train and bus from Milan. very long day as flew from Perth WA and arrived at 6 am. Very pleased to find a comfortable bed walking up a steep footpath from the bus station with our luggage was a bit of a challenge. Loved checking out the church before bed.Guest review byTeasdale

Balcony was shared, but as we were only there one night we didn't use it. Great location close to the train station and a reasonable walk to the old town and also to the Santuario della Madonna di Tirano which is worth a visit. Check in for the hotel was at the Merrizi restaurant, which is also where the limited, but good quality breakfast was served.
