Sarzana is an interesting, beautiful old town strategically positioned between the Liguria cities and beaches, and the Lunigiana. From there there is lots to explore, and a lot to enjoy in the town itself. Especially in the summer (Ma-August) for the cultural events organized by Angelo Tonelli for the series called "MYTHOS-LOGOS". Cinque terre very close by, and Lerici, Tellaro, Amelia, Pietrasanta, Massa and Carrara. Underground garage was also available as it would be almost not possible to park outside during normal hours if you come by car. Apartment was clean and well accessible. Location is almost direct center of Sarzana. Literally 5minutes to train station and another 3 minutes to historic center and 5minutes to citadela del Sarzana. Rooms on the ground floor have their own semi-private garden seating area. The hotel decor is from the early 90s but it is very well maintained. The room was clean with a fairly standard setup and size. Hotel represents good value for money and it is convenient. The personel was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was very tasty with lots of fruit. Swimming pool was clean and dedicated for both adults and children.
