Roccalumera is located next to the highway leading to Catania / Palermo, with an own motorway exit, that comes very useful if you would like to travel around the island. Located near the beach and the train station. However, considering how difficult it is to get anywhere by public transport on Sicily, I suggest you take a car. Local beach was wonderful for me with clear water and waves. Ble flag. But not very convenient for my kids, since it's made up of large pebbles and there's no shallow end. Fabulous if you want to sit by pool or on the beach. Room was serviced daily, absolutely anything you asked of staff, they would assist. Always someone around to assist or serve at the coffee bar.
