The breakfast was outstanding, offering a lot of options. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness is perfect, and the facilities are in very good condition. A kettle kit with tea bags and coffee is available upon request. A very special experience is the restaurant da Pode, which is located on the hotel grounds, belongs to the family, and is mentioned in the Michelin catalog. The restaurant serves excellent Italian dishes; we had dinner twice, both times it was outstanding. The Steak Tartare is prepared by Sergio tableside, making it a unique performance (although we did not order it). Tenuta Sovestro, a winery next to the hotel and another business managed by the same family, has very interesting local-style wines and offers personalized tastings. Shuttle to San Gimignano is also a very good option to visit the city.

Very good location, right in the centre of the old town. If you come by car, you can park your car in the garage next to the hotel for an extra fee. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast, great choice. Would definitely recommend.

The location of our room overlooking the Piazza was excellent!! The scenery from the breakfast room was something special. The breakfast was very good. The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful with the parking area for our car.

    The Borgo Pignano was absolutely beautiful and even better...

    The Borgo Pignano was absolutely beautiful and even better than what we read and heard from our friends past travels to Tuscany. The location nestled near olive groves, vineyards and woods of the region were spectacular as we travelled through the region. The skilled- staff were amazing and truly cared about each and every guest, like family. The restaurants, out-door bar with breath taking sunsets truly elevated our stay. I look forward to returning to such a picturesque location and spending more time on our next excursion to Italy. Grazie, Grazie.

    There was nothing we didn't like about Borgo Pignano. Staying here was a trip highlight for us, we left feeling so content, relaxed and happy after a few days here. The staff were all exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We booked a few internal experiences on the property and they were flawless. The pool area was breathtaking, it looked out over the hills of Tuscany – one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. Honestly, a must-do experience in Italy if travelling through the area.

    The location was excellent for touring this part of Tuscany. The apartment was very clean and spacious but the best part was the garden and the view across to the mountains and to the far horizon. It was a real pleasure to sit in the garden with a drink at the end of a busy day of sight seeing. There is also a very good restaurant at the top of the driveway. The staff were extremely helpful with maps and information about the area.

    Warm welcome, hospitality and kindness of the owners family 👍Very beautiful and quiet place, however very close to must-to-see sites in Tuscany. Very convenient for sightseeing. Rural surrounding and atmosphere, the house is located on the hills, in the center of 90 hectares farm. Friendly animals 😊 The apartment is quite independent, separate entrance and part of the garden. Would be happy to come back 😊
