Beautifully decorated throughout! A quiet stay in the heart of Sulmona. With comfort and luxury at every turn! Firstly the staff here are welcoming and exceptional. They assisted us with information about the town, restaurants etc.. also made excellent suggestions as to the route we should take while continuing our travels to Puglia. We were treated to a most beautiful visit to the old village of Pescocostanzo which we would not have had only for the assistance of the staff.

    Pacentro is a picturesque village nestled on a mountain side. It is a paradise for young children to explore the many pedestrian only alleyways that run through the village. It has retained its quaintness and medieval characteristics and the restored castle tower is a must visit.

    Pacentro is a gorgeous ancient mountain village, and the terrace house is right in the heart in a perfect location. The charming old world feel really makes you feel you have stepped back in time. We were delighted with everything about our stay, including outstanding self checkin instruction, from our host Fabio which included a map of the village highlighting points of interest. This was our favourite immersion experience in Italy. There is even a medieval castle just above the house. We spent hours just exploring the streets and lanes.

    We stayed in the separate studio apartment, which is around the corner from the main B&B. The location of both are excellent, right in the centre of town. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and fantastic coffee. Alberto was easy to deal with throughout the booking process and was very helpful and attentive during our stay. All round, a great place to stay in the centre of Pacentro.

    A historic house full of original features and character, fed by mountain spring fresh water, has a nice swimming pool, magnificent views across the plains of Sulmona and within easy reach of Pacentro. A lovely suite and a fabulous breakfast too from very accommodating hosts.

    Serena was a lovely welcoming host. Always in contact and very helpful. The house was very clean and set up for all you need to have a lovely stay. In the old town of Pacentro, you walk the tiny narrow lanes between the houses which have been there for hundreds of years.
