This place really delighted us. We travelled with 2 kids and the dog. The apartment was big and comfortable. The bedroom was connected with a big covered terrace, where we could rest or dry our clothes. Bathroom was equipped with a whirlpool bathtub. In the kitchen there was everything we needed. Entrance to the apartment with the individual code. Decoration of the apartment was really beautiful and modern. And the surrounding of the building was also amazing. Soft grass, nice swimming pool with sun loungers around, bar with drinks and snacks and a place for kids to play ball. The distance to Rome was about 25 minutes with our own car. We had a great time 😁

The breakfast was varied and included ham, cheeses, bread, jams, cereals, yoghurt's, juice etc. The grounds are gorgeous, really peaceful and well kept, perfect for relaxation. The room and bathroom was a lot bigger than I expected and was very clean and well kept. When travelling to the city centre, take the metro and train lines from the station that is about 15 minute drive away. It's really cheap to do it this way and the public transport is reliable and frequent. If you take a train from Saxa Rubra and then the A line underground system, you can visit most places in the city via this line. It's all really well sign posted and easy to navigate once you get your bearrings. The closest shop is 15 mins by car. My advice would be load up a big bag of supplies on the day you take a trip to the city and bring your goodies back if you decide to stay at the hotel and chillax. The staff were the highlight of my visit, they were so welcoming, attentive, accommodating and friendly!

This was the perfect choice to visit Rome. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. The breakfast was awesome. Not far from the house there's the Montebello train station, with very frequent trains to Rome, with a big parking place costing only 1,5 € per day. Next to the house there are good restaurants much cheaper than in Rome and much less crowded. After spending the day in a very crowded Rome, it felt so good to arrive there and enjoy the silence in a beautiful garden. I believe that the swimming pool in the Summer can be the perfect end of the day.

    They let me chek in early. One of the best hotel I visited on the Via Francigena. very good brekfast (boild eggs, diffrent sorts of bread, juice ++++ - not only ‘cakes’). The bathroom was not large (mentioned by others - but I had no problem with it. it was clean, it included what I needed. Air conditioned worked, the room was cold and fresh, and the bed included what I needed to be warm.

    The hotel is conveniently located for the Via Francigena. Staff were friendly and helpful, but not able to address some problems. The bed was comfortable and we were given a large, quiet room at the back away from the busy main road, as requested. Breakfast was very good.
