This is not really a tourist town, but it's a great location with good access to explore. It seems a quiet town. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Beautiful place with lovely people. I felt safer than other cities I have visited. But obviously, you can never be too cautious. I would definitely recommend learning Italian for a while before visiting though because the locals don't speak much English and it makes it easier for everyone!Guest review byCharlene FitzgeraldIreland

Essentially, in Nuoro nothing is all that central but it certainly wasn't a problem. The staff were excellent and flexible as well as being helpful in arranging dining in Nuoro.
