Moreover, one of the most beautiful sections of the Sardinian coast (the Orosei gulf) is only a half hour drive away, with great opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and sea kayaking The city is small, quiet, and very safe with excellent food. This is not really a tourist town, but it's a great location with good access to explore. It seems a quiet town. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Beautiful place with lovely people. I felt safer than other cities I have visited. But obviously, you can never be too cautious. Antonio and Giuseppe are lovely people - kind, caring and concerned about their guests. The atmosphere of the farm is a very good one: you can tell the animals are happy, including all the dogs and cats. We stayed in Demetra room which is facing the wall of the next building (so no view) but very quiet. The other one has much better view (I guess) but it's probably more louder since there's a restaurant underneath.
