Beautiful old authentic house in a quiet place. Our appartement was very spacious. Well equiped kitchen. Huge bathroom. Lovely natural garden. Clean pool. 1min walk to the river. Very funcional retro kids plaground. Already miss this place.

The most welcoming welcome by Maria. Our bad italian was no problem. She explained all in English. Informed us about the town, what to see, and even sent us the better route to the hotel, so we would not get stuck in narrow streets. Fabulous room, proper, beautiful balcony and a shared terrace. The town itself is unique, we had a great dinner at 'El Presidente' ,what a magnificent host, mr Salvo, and what great food, cooked by his father.

Room was ok, we had a parking in front of the hotel, even thought it is limited traffic zone, but the hotel provides you a permit for the days that you are staying with them. Magnificent view on the Taormina and on Etna from our balcony was priceless! The staff was super nice and the city of Castelmola is so cozy, so friendly, we loved it!

The hosts were the loveliest mother/daughter team that provided us with the most delicious home made breakfast, including cookies&cake that they baked for us in the night.     The small village of Motta Camastra is picturesque; the view...

    The small village of Motta Camastra is picturesque; the view is amazing and the small bar in the centre makes exceptionally delicious and cheap sweets. However, you will need a car to get there, and the main parking is on an uphill so make sure that the driver is a confident one. There is not much to see other than the views, so 2 hours for a walk around, coffee and sweets is more than enough. There are a number of neighbouring villages which are more or less the same.
