Very friendly owner and staff with great selection of food, reasonably priced in their newly extended restaurant. Parking in the street outside was easy at 4.30pm. Worth a 20-minute detour on route to Ancona ferry to Greece. Our room was on the 2nd floor but no problem with a Lift.

I dont often give 10 stars, but I would give this place 11 if I could! Fantastic in every way. Great hosts, staff, amenities and the food is exceptional. I have been travelling for 2 months and this was the best breakfast and value of any place.

I appreciated the hot water offered for tea at breakfast. The location is lovely and there are plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance. The bed sheets were cotton and that makes all the difference!

Casa Cucagna is a lovely place with amazing views and totally surrounded by vegetation amd fields. The owners, along with their lovely dog, are exceptional and welcoming. The bedroom was clean, confortable and had all the facilities we needed. The whole house was beautifully decorated with an exquisite taste. We really enjoyed our 4-day stay, especially the delicious breakfast with local products. We will definetely try to come back some day for sure! Thank you!

    Whilst Mondavio is small and a little sleepy, for a short...

    Whilst Mondavio is small and a little sleepy, for a short break or as a base with a hire car it's perfect. It's safe, parking is free and plentiful. There are enough bars and restaurants to keep you occupied. If you're not renting a car, you can get there by public transport and would be quite self-sufficient. We walked to a little supermarket to stock up on provisions whilst we were there. Food and bars are excellent, and much more reasonable than the UK. Loved visiting the castle and the theatre and walking around the ramparts.

    Amazing host. Helpful, attentive, kind. There are restaurants and bars a five to ten minute drive away. The one we used had a pick-up menu. The host helped with the telephone order and also with collection. Roberta, our host is a really lovely person, could not be more helpful, she's also a very good Baker and makes cakes for breakfast!

    The location is brilliant. We flew to Ancona and rented a car. It's a 35 minute drive to Mondavio so no stress is involved. Parking was super easy. Room small but perfect for our needs. The restaurant was amazing, the food is superlative and had flexible choices. We loved the pizzas in the evening too. Views incredible. Village beautiful. Staff caring and lovely. We felt instantly at home. The village is beautiful as are the surroundings so much to see and do, and we love the coast there too.
