Whilst Mondavio is small and a little sleepy, for a short...
Whilst Mondavio is small and a little sleepy, for a short break or as a base with a hire car it's perfect. It's safe, parking is free and plentiful. There are enough bars and restaurants to keep you occupied. If you're not renting a car, you can get there by public transport and would be quite self-sufficient. We walked to a little supermarket to stock up on provisions whilst we were there. Food and bars are excellent, and much more reasonable than the UK. Amazing host. Helpful, attentive, kind. There are restaurants and bars a five to ten minute drive away. The one we used had a pick-up menu. The host helped with the telephone order and also with collection. Roberta, our host is a really lovely person, could not be more helpful, she's also a very good Baker and makes cakes for breakfast!Guest review byPeter

It's a 35 minute drive to Mondavio so no stress is involved. Parking was super easy. Room small but perfect for our needs. The restaurant was amazing, the food is superlative and had flexible choices. We loved the pizzas in the evening too. Views incredible. Village beautiful. Staff caring and lovely.
