    Marilleva 1400 is up in the mountains.

    Marilleva 1400 is up in the mountains. There is a good road for cars, but, I can imagine, when it is snowing, it could be a trouble to get there without snow chains. I tried to find out the snow conditions before arrival, but I did not succeed. Therefore I bought snow chains for sure, but I did not use it. If you stay in Marilleva 900, you are on the safe side and there is also a lift to M-1400. On the other hand M-1400 is less busy place without dozens of busses and turists.

    Beautiful natural scenery of the Dolomites.

    Beautiful natural scenery of the Dolomites. Marilleva 1400 unfortunately is not a very pretty or character filled resort as it is made up of purpose built concrete apartment/hotel buildings which are not very attractive compared to resorts in France, Austria or Switzerland.

    Small town but super friendly, clean and well organized with everything you might need - a pharmacy, a few restaurants and bars, a lot of bus stops. The local shop is well equipped. The place is very clean and the views are beautiful.

    It's a beautiful, modern hotel in a quiet location. Perfect for families. The food and the spa experience are truly 5*. The staff are professional and very accommodating. The rooms are tastefully decorated. We had a great time here while on our half term skiing holiday. The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from the gondola and it's serviced by a free ski bus running every 15min. It's very convenient and quick. The owner is a great host. We'll be back!

    Great location, close to a ski lift (walking distance even with ski boots on). Clean hotel, had delicious dinners, overall very good quality for price. Would recommend.
