There is one thing to see and it is spectacular - the castle...
There is one thing to see and it is spectacular - the castle on its own islet with a causeway. Eat at the Aragonese opposite for good food, great music and the best view. There are other places but none were open on a Tuesday in late October. The seafront is easy to walk around, but there is nothing remarkable about the rest of the town. The castle is breathtaking at night when it is floodlit, there are parks for walking and taking photographs, the beach looks nice (but I did not have time) and there is a lot of fishing activity. It's a quiet town with hospitable people - a charming lady saw me looking lost and helped me find the Raggio di Sole. a jewel in a marine natural park, scuba dive and sailing recommended, docking fees very convenient all facilities in place, good simple cuisine,..wonderful surroundings, public beach in 1 km from centre: avoid beach close to castle monument. The place was clean, with a decent (but tiny) bathroom. If you are intending to party most of the night and then just crash, it'd be fine but for anything more - forget it. In this way I didn’t have to wait too much. Both ladies are very friendly and made me feel at home. The hotel is located in a very quiet environment and I slept like a log.
