The location is wonderful. From the pool area you can see a beautiful Toscana panorama. The water in the pool was cristal clear, also the room was very clean and beautifully arranged. It was a place of dreams.

We had an amazing stay at Tenuta Sant'Ilario! The staff was very friendly and supportive and contacted us before hand to make sure we get the right directions to get to the hotel. The bedroom was big and comfy, with a very classic fashion it looked very romantic and amazing. The hotel is amazingly beautifyl, it has amazing views, everything looks Tuscany! The location is also very good, mid way from Sienna to Florence, so you can visit pretty much everything on Tuscany region. The restaurant was surprisingly good! Amazing food and wine with fair prices. The property's Chianti wine is just amazing and the Truffle Raviolli was the best food I had in all Italy! The breakfast in the mornings for sure was a high point of the stay. A lot of fresh food, with local cheeses and hams, nice coffee and delicious pastries! We will be back for sure!

Very nice and quiet renovated house in the historic centre of Gambassi. Nice kitchen and bathroom with washing machine. One of the best options for people who walk the Francigena, which is only 20 mtrs away. Close to everything you need.

Very friendly host, Enrico helped us with everything. We liked the location, near to the famous places but in a very calm surrounding. The weather was bit cool and rainy so we could not use the pool but it was really nice! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, smelled always nice. Free parking. Grazie mille Enrico :)

    Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! Definitely recommend visiting here, there seemed to be lots more lovely restaurants too.

    It's a great area, lovely countryside and two nearby very good restaurants. Is near Castelfiorentino which has good train connections to Florence and Sienna. You need a car if you are staying as we were a few Km outside a town. Taxis are hard to find.

    The location, the facilities, the comfort and quiet of a beautiful country side away from chaotic cities and large villages. We ate all around and visited historic places within about a 30- 40 minute drive including glass factory, wineries, restaurants, galleries and San Gimignano. Highly recommend you have a car. Roads are pretty good and I soon got use to driving on the opposite side which was my biggest concern as an Australian driver. I highly recommend this area and would be happy to stay again.

    Everything was lovely, very nice breakfast, very clean rooms and everywhere else, very helpful staff that couldn’t do enough for you, beautiful location,lovely swimming pool, everything that you need to relax and have a break. The location is close to many beautiful little towns that I would advise to visit as they are perfect for a lovely day out but ideally you need the car there to do this.

    I stopped here while walking the Via Francigena and was very satisfied with the accommodations. I was travelling alone and stayed only one night, but this apartment is big enough for two people to stay for several days, with a full kitchen, a large and comfortable bedroom and a large bathroom. It is located next to a small square that was not very busy, and the main square of the town is a short 2-3 minute walk. Gambassi Terme is a great little town, with a beautiful park and a lively main square.

    The hotel is peacefully located, with beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable rooms. The pool is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is excellent – especially Angus’s freshly prepared hot dishes. His pancakes are a must-try! + their homemade wine and olive oil are also highly recommended. Scott and Angus (the owners) create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their two well-behaved and sweet dogs add to the charm of the place. We will definitely be coming back!

    The view was exceptional with wineyards and olive trees on sloping hills. We could also see the towers of San Gimignano and the city of Gambassi Terme. The pool was really nice and clean with three depth levels. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated with two bathrooms. Large kitchen with good cooking facilities. We can warmly recommend Renai e Monte :-)
