We were looking for an experience that wasn’t wall to wall tourists and Gaeta in September was perfect for that. (Summer is much busier, I’m told.) There was plenty of excellent restaurant choices as well as places to visit. The beach was lovely and we had planned to spend time there; however, we ended up only walking through on our first evening in town. It is a lovely town with friendly people. Geata is absolutely beatiful town, full of history and culture. Plenty to do and discover for everyone beach bums and seasoned hikers . Beaches in the area are stunning, people are friendly. Kids enjoyed visiting different beaches everyday , waters are clear and warm in August. They also loved apartment ,full of character with fantastic views. Near by pizzeria had plenty to offer and local ice cream are to die for. We will visit again.Guest review byAnonymous

One of 4 rooms they have is with no view. I ordered this one and it was very disappointing that it did not have a terrace, i ordered this hotel just because of the view. The restaurant staff achieved the perfect balance between being friendly and yet professional. The beach is fantastic, the food is great, my room had a balcony with sea view - couldn't have asked for more really. The location between Gaeta and Sperlonga is perfect for visiting either town. The hosts were friendly, and the house is beautiful, situated in a lovely, peaceful garden about 5 minutes’ walk from the nearest beach and about half an hour’s walk from Gaeta town. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, the bathroom was spacious and it was good having access to a kettle, coffee maker, fridge and sink in the garden.
