Gabicce Mare is a good basis for visiting Rimini, San Marino, Urbino, etc. The beaches are very well organized and comfortable (also, very near the hotel we stayed at). The restaurants are plenty and offer a choice of Italian cooking. Prices are moderate. Paid public parking is available in the streets around the hotel, but this can be difficult at times. The position was great -15 minutes walk from the railway station and right by the beach, canal and the town. There was a lift to my 5th floor room which had a balcony and an excellent view over the canal where the restaurants were. The beach was so close that I could leave my phone etc in the safe when I went for a swim. The room was clean, there was good aircon and clothes drying rack. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. A special mention to Tina, the lovely lady who came and made up our room everyday, making sure to keep the hotel lovely and clean.
