It is extremely underrated. For the amenities you receive. It is a very well kept hotel and the staff couldn’t be better. The attached restaurant is a gem by itself but together it is magic. We really enjoyed our stay at this authentic castle with incredible views and overlooking/with access to the village below! The accommodations themselves were good in that you were in the castle with appropriate decor and an authentic, rustic, ancient feel. It was a really warm night, and that was the least enjoyable part of our stay. Maybe the best part was the incredible view from the ramparts of the castle and the access to explore this beautiful, historic property! It is a special place. The staff was the other standout as they were incredibly friendly and helpful and seemed to really care about the property and our experience there. We would definitely return and explore the area next time as I imagine that there are more interesting and beautiful places all around.Guest review byJosephUnited States
