From Lombardia's castle has panoramic view, Etna, Callascibetta, valley, Bassa Enna, old town. There is a supermarket near castle. Velvendere square is 10minutes from bus stop and 20min from bus station. Enna is a beautiful and historic city, in a spectacular hilltop location with stunning views. We found it a very friendly town, with very few tourists in March. It can be very cold even then, when windy, so pack warm clothes. Worth the bus journey. The views from Enna are spectacular. We had a beautiful meal at Il Mito di Kore on the recommendation of our hosts. We saw the cathedral and walked as far as the castle which was closed for renovation.Guest review byJudyIreland

Patrizia and Giiuseppe were excellent hosts in all respects. They made parking so easy by reserving a space right outside the door. Giuseppe made all the furniture and did all the carpentry for the stunning interior and Patrizia gave many enthusiastic recommendations for restaurants and places to see in the highest city in Europe. Situated at 1000 m above the sea, it offers fresh and quiet place after noise and turmoils of Palermo and Catania. Mr Fabrizio is very pleasant, flexible, adaptive and careful host who did everything to keep us satisfied. Comfort room with extra space for disposing baggage, shoes, etc. Nice bathroom.
