This accommodation was just in the right place and time. We enjoyed the surroundings and the nice restaurant we found in the town. The B&B we had was excellent and the trip from Dorgali was so beautiful that we had almost to stop at all the scenery stops. The location is simply stunning.
The location is simply stunning. In addition the way that the buildings have been designed to blend in with the landscape and stunning garden areas makes it a joyful place to stay. Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat.
Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat. There is not much to do in Dorgali itself. So a car is essential. There are some good value pizzerias, some bars and a couple of high quality restaurants. We had a memorable meal at Corte Barisone, some excellent food at Merula Cafferia (but were suprised by thge prices which were nearly as high as London here) and we loved our beers, apertifs and burgers at the great value Gallo Nero bar. Dorgali is a good base for walking the Gorroppu Gorge and for visiting Cala Gonogne.Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom

The room is huge and very spacious, and it also has a kitchen in it. The host of the B&B was very welcoming and very kind, she welcomed us with two free beers on our arrival. This location is only 16 minutes away from Cala Gonone , where you can book a boat trip to Costa Orosei. I would highly recommend this place and if I travel to Sardegna again I will surely book Villa Maria again.Guest review byKellyMalta
