Zafran hotel is a great facility in Donnalucata. We love the hotel, the amenities and the staff was exceptional. They are very friendly and capable to solve any problem you have doing your staying. We were given 2 beautiful and spacious rooms, the location is great, water front, private parking (gated) and we loved the mosaic work on the floor. Breakfast was really good and well. If we come in this area again we won't miss to reserve a room with them again.

The property itself is gorgeous, every little detail. The staff is extremely helpful and very kind. Thank you Mirella, Serafina & Chiara. Special shoutout to the chef, because the food is exceptional and fresh. We told him we like zucchini flowers, and he made a little appetizer for us. Their garden with herbs and vegetables is amazing!! I’ve been coming to Italy for 14 years, and this one is one of the best stays I’ve experienced. We will surely come back.

Perfect apartment for a family of 3, sparkling clean, with everything you may possibly need, including beach umbrellas. Very friendly and helpful host, amazing food around and the best wine shop with young sparkling wine. I love Donnalucata. Thanks, Eva, for such a lovely place to stay.

    Donnalucata is nice, calm but good serviced small town with restaurants, gelaterias and markets. It has nice promenade and beatuful clean sea. I can recommend Blue moon gelateria and Luna rosa gelateria and La Creperia.

    It is a small haliday town, witch offers everything you can need in your stay. There are bars, restaurants, and shops with resonable prizes. And also you can find some attractions for kids. And a promenada is beautifull, you can enjoy evening walking!

    It’s a great rooftop apartment with beautiful spacious terrace that overlooks the bay. The views are stunning, beach is beautiful, walks are great. Apartment has everything that you need for your stay, parking is possible right in the street. Giovanni was very kind, prompt with responses and helpful whenever we need anything. Just it’s needed to be said that the flat would deserve some renovation, especially bathroom, fridge and the sofas.

    A great hideout a bit more off the beaten path for visitors who like more quiet (we travelled in April, there were very few people at the beach), we loved the tranquility and view from veranda on the sea. Important sights and locations easily reachable by car (Modica 20m, Ragusa 30m, Noto 60m, Syracuse 60m, Agrigento 90m, Catania 2h), supermarkets are nearby. Rossella our host was very helpful - recommended stay to experience Sicily.

    The location was brilliant for a beach holiday. If this is all you want, it's great. It's only about 5 miles to Scicli. There is a small supermarket, restaurant, ice cream etc in the village about 1 mile away. Vincenzo was very nice and set us up with plenty of fruit and vegetables. Difficult to find as the sat nav takes you down the wrong way but Vincenzo came to find us. Good car parking.

    Absolutely phenomenal home-from-home in a unique setting. Idyllic views and superb comfort! The villa arrangement and size are big enough to bring together several families whilst still maintaining your own personal spaces. The beach location was simply beautiful with good local facilities and excellent places of interest to visit.

    Donnalucata is a stunning location, it’s under developed which makes it amazing, you won’t get a more authentic Italian Mediterranean experience, this Hotel is at the heart of it, amazing staff who will do anything in their power to make your stay comfortable, I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
