Comfort, staff ,meals view from balcony, and parking. Staff was particularly pleasant and helpful. Meals, in house, were a terrific bonus and were excellent. Parking was easy to use, right in hotel property.

This is a very small hotel situated right on the edge of Lake Como. Everything was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly and greeted us by name. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and arrived to find a complimentary bottle of bubbles and an anniversary cake in our room.

    People need to be aware of the complicated mode of transport...

    People need to be aware of the complicated mode of transport to arrive from the airport to the hotel unless you hire a car or get a taxi which is 175 euros each way. Airport shuttle bus which only leaves 1 per hour and takes 25-30 minutes to get to Milan central station. Then a train to Como San Giovanni train station which takes 40 minutes and leaves every hour. Then either a bus which takes 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and departures are sporadic or the ferry which is a good 15-20 minute walk from the station and takes 44 minutes but those departures are not frequent in any way shape or form. We arrived Milan Linate at 1pm and arrived at the hotel past 5pm

    Carate Urio is not very walkable.

    Carate Urio is not very walkable. The street is narrow and very busy. There are limited transit options, with the city bus and boat taxi running at long intervals. Taxis are not easy to obtain due to local ordinances. However, there are a handful of restaurants nearby that are very nice, and the people were all very friendly and helpful.

    Staff were super helpful. Arthur and his colleagues were kind, professional and gave us loads of information to make our trip in Como really memorable. The hotel is literally opposite the ferry stop and close to bus stops. They also have parking which was really convenient- by the way, we would really recommend renting a car in Como as it’s much easier to get around.

    Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. Hotel was in a lovely quiet area on the lake side opposite the boat pick up point for transport round the lake. Hotel was spotlessly clean. A continental breakfast was offered at extra cost and had a lovely selection of choice. The most panoramic lake view in the restaurant!!!!

    The 4 bedroomed Apartment in the Villa was clean and tidy with modern facilities. It is centrally located on the Lakeside in Carate Urio which gives great views of Lake Como. We liked the Pool and the Terrace.
